Mortgage Reported As Installment Loan by State Bridge.

They will not remove inaccurate information reported.

State Bridge Followed up from email complaint via phone!

Requested that I write them a letter via snail mail and file dispute at all 3 credit agencies instead of removing from my report.

This has been an ongoing issue trying to refinance my 8% loan with them. No one will loan me as 93% debt to credit.

Disputed with Equafax and they have not been helpful. Said under investigation instead of removing right away. Opened complaint with Federal Trade Commission / Fair Credit Act has been violated.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Location: Saint Joseph, Missouri

Statebridge is a "debt collector".... Don't all debt collectors suck?

Property owners who turned a good on time payment home loans over to them is just wrong.

Best guess is these types of companies are the only ones who will service these types of non conventional loans.

I have been stuck paying 8% interest for 7yrs. Loan has been transferred to a half dozen servicing companies over the years. Do auto bank draft and never late on payments. Paid too much for property going $50k $2k down $48k financed.

Less than thousand dollars a year goes towards principal. Owe 43 grand.

Only big issue is Statebridge required insurance where all other loan servicing companies did not. Property owner took out their own insurance on the loan amount.

SB tried to make me pay for 300k in home owners insurance "replacement cost" to rebuild a 1860's model mansion which was a shell when I bought it.

they said "It's in your contract" And yes it was... Insane as insurance costs exceeded yearly principal... Ended up going to local insurance company and getting insurance for 50 grand to cover loan. Which was almost impossible to get with a 10+ year old roof and age of home.

They accepted 50k proof of insurance. Almost had to turn house back to them over this issue. So far I have invested 30 grand plus 7 years in payments. Have to invest another 20k "cash" to get home to qualify for a conventional loan.

Home market is weak and best guess is 60k is all I can get out of house after putting a new roof on.

Feel bad for anyone who is stuck in these types of loans. It's a trap and should be illegal...

"Said under investigation instead of removing right away. "

Oh that's how it works.

I can write to the credit guys and they should remove it right away without an investigation.

Get real they have to investigate, that's how it works.
